The 32-kilometer mountain bike route with a total of 1,000 meters of elevation is not for the faint-hearted! Starting directly from Mondseeblick, the trail leads through Innerschwand to Oberwang. From there, the climb begins on natural forest paths up the 1,029-meter-high Mondseeberg. At the top, bikers are rewarded with a sunny view of the lake and a well-earned, self-packed snack. After a break, the route descends into the town of Mondsee and follows the lakeshore back toward Mondseeblick. To cool off after the ride, simply take a refreshing dip in the lake and enjoy the summer weather.
The 191-kilometer route starts in Mondsee, just a 10-minute drive from Mondseeblick, following the eastern shore to St. Gilgen at Lake Wolfgangsee. From Strobl, at the other end of the lake, the path leads through the mountains to Lake Hallstatt, then continues via Bad Ischl to Lake Traunsee. After a short stretch along the Traunsee, the route crosses over to Lake Attersee. After circling the Attersee, riders finally return to Mondsee.
You start your 15-kilometer family cycling tour right at the doorstep of Mondseeblick. Riding along the lakeshore with a view of the Dragonwall, you head towards the town of Mondsee. A stop at Almeida Park is well worth it, where wooden benches at the quay invite you to rest. While enjoying a snack, you can take in the peaceful lake scenery. After a short break, your tour continues toward St. Lorenz, following the same route back to your accommodation at Mondseeblick.
